The Design
This kitchen makes for lovely and airy open plan living. Not only does this large kitchen work great for socialising but it also connects the living space with the kitchen. It makes use of every single space available making it flow nicely.
The bespoke design has floor to cealing cabinets on either side of the kitchen walls incapsulating the large family island and the Range stow in the middle of the space. The kitchen is full of hidden storage and small details that make it flow for day-to-day use and for socialising.

The kitchen is our Westminster style and works well with this new build house and the family’s needs, which the client built after the demolition of their origional house. It is painted in a lovely dark colour from the Herringbone Paints range, which when the light changes makes the atmosphere and hues change too. It’s beautiful.
The Details: Colours, Hardware, Worktops Etc
This kitchen has extraodinary attention to detail, and is packed full of storage both visual to the eye and hidden out of sight. From the marble worktop flowing throughout the kitchen to the sink on the island we love how this kitchen flows so smoothly in so many ways.
The large island is a particular great design feature as it looks neat from the living room side but offers functional storage for the family and a lovely social space for everyday living.
The hidden storage is lovely in this kitchen and the Quooker tap serves as an elegant reminder of how this kitchen was designed to be lived in and used throughout the day. The seamless sink works really well and the worktop is a lovely fresh detail too. The Wine fridge next to the reeded glass breakfast and dresser unit is within perfect reach making the flow of the kitchen seamless.
“My absolute favourite feature of the kitchen is the reeded glass units. They put a smile to my face every time I see them as it is the first thing I see when I walk into my kitchen. In second place would be my Quooker tap with CUBE.”
Interior designer Suzanne Bullock from Wallace Design Studio and architect Carmen Austin were huge parts of the client’s build too with their expert knowledge of how to make the spaces work for a family evident throughout the house.

The Utility
The large utility follows the same design and colour as the kitchen. There is plenty of space for any overspill from kitchen essentials and cook books and enough worktop space for any folding. We love how the washer and dryer are stacked to maximise the height of the room as well as the space.
